Temperature display system using the water
A temperature sense is one kind of tactile sense. For this reason, temperature control apparatus, such as an air-conditioner and a stove, is developed. But it is the purpose that these keep temperature constant, and changing temperature rapidly is not assumed. Although temperature sense doesn’t have high spatial resolution and time resolution, a change in the sudden temperature is also used for sense of danger. That has a high possibility that it can be applied to information display. The Peltier device is used many of interfaces using a temperature change. But the main purposes of a Peltier device are cooling of apparatus, such as CPU, and it has a subject that response doesn’t become quick. In this study, water with the high specific heat is used as heat carrier. High-speed thermal display system is developed by changing warm water and cold water in temperature exposition. This system was enabled to switch about 30 degrees difference in temperature in about 1 second. Combination with another contents of this system is examined.

Development of the writing operations support system
If we want to improve the skill of calligraphy, we need some training. However, it takes long time and many people cannot make enough time to do it. So, we developed a system which assist a non-training man. But, if a man was assisted by only position, he could not find the end point or inflection point of a word until go through such points. Therefore, our system assist not only pen's position but also its velocity. Slow speed tells that a inflection point is near and high speed assists the movement of the pen at end point(which called HANE or HARAI).

Development of ball-rotation system with visual and tactile feedback inducing illusion of motion
In performing rehabilitation, it is effective to generate an illusion. In this study, we invented ball-rotation system inducing of illusion of motion by visual and tactile feedback and to the evaluation experiment of it. We conducted the evaluation experiment of equipment and an illusional indecement experiment on using it before. We plan to verify the appropriate angular velocity to induce illusion using device. Furthermore, we plan to verify the illusion in various way of grips.

Development of rehabilitation assist device utilizing mirror movement
In this study, we developed a device for the purpose of assist of the rehabilitation. The method of the rehabilitation includes what's called mirror therapy. Mirror movement can expect an effect as rehabilitation of the symptom of hemiplegia. Therefore we developed the device which caused an illusion that a paralysis limb moved the arms because a reflected image let you exercise in this study.Because without using power, the structure of the device is simple and it is easy portable device. It is the structure that is relatively small because we use synchronous belt, linear guide and a pulley for mirror movement.
